What do we do at Book Club?
- Book Club members meet-up for 45 mins to chat about that month's book. The idea is to finish the book before our meeting so that we can discuss it without being worried about spoilers. However it is not an issue if they don't finish they can still contribute and often it gives someone motivation to keep going.
- I lead the discussion and guide Book Clubbers - we want to encourage young readers to be thinkers, but are keen to ensure our meetings fun!
- Note If you have a reluctant reader no one is going to know if you read it together - they can come and discuss their thoughts.
What do we get with each ticket?
- 2 fantastic new titles to read before each meeting!
- Plus a spot at the Book Club table (numbers are limited)
- Afternoon tea
How much are the tickets?
- $42
What Age do you recommend?
- The books chosen are recommended for age 10-12

The Clockwork Conspiracy - Sam Sedgman
A locked-room mystery packed with rooftop chases, hidden codes and mind-bending science, The Clockwork Conspiracy is a must for fans of the Adventures on Trains series.
Aspiring inventor Isaac Turner lives with his dad, the horologist in charge of Big Ben. But when his father vanishes from the belfry on the night the clocks go back, leaving behind only a smashed pocket watch and a cryptic message, Isaac determines to find him.
Hunting a trail of clues through London’s landmarks, Isaac uncovers a sinister plot in the gears of government and embarks on a race against time to save his father – and time itself.
